Fitness Ball Dumbbell Crunches Technique Instructions

Fitness Ball Dumbbell Abs Crunches
Technique - Start by bending your knees keeping your back straight when picking up the dumbbell. Grip the dumbbell with both hands behind your head with your palms facing forwards. Sit down on the fitness ball with your feet shoulder width apart and position the fitness ball so that it supports your lower back. Inhale as you lower your upper body down backwards allowing the fitness ball to roll with the movement. Stop when you feel your abs muscles stretch. Exhale as you raise your upper body back upwards maintaining control over the dumbbell and your balance. Lean forwards at the top of the motion and squeeze your abs muscles inwards. Do not allow any longer than a 1 count before starting the next rep as this will maintain pressure on the abs muscles and increase the overall benefits of the exercise. Repeat this technique for the desired number of reps.
