Technique - Start by setting the weight bench to an incline position. Bend your knees keeping your back straight when picking up the tricep bar. Grip the tricep bar so that your palms are facing one another. When ready stand up and sit down on the weight bench keeping your legs apart and your feet well planted for stability. Lay back moving the tricep bar into a vertical position in one movement. Inhale as you lower the tricep barbell down behind your head keeping your upper arms straight and solid. You may need to lean your head forwards slightly to avoid hitting it with the bar. Exhale as you extend the tricep bar back to the starting position not allowing your arms to fully lock out before performing the next rep as this will maintain pressure on the tricep muscles and increase the overall benefits of the exercise.
